We are deeply saddened by the loss of Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority Sister Emily Norman (S ‘07), a member of
the Gamma class of Kappa Alpha Iota Chapter. May her Spirit soar
and watch over those so deeply affected by her passing. MTSND

1987 - 2008

Emily Ruth Norman, 20, of 328 Carolle St., Greencastle, died on Tuesday
April 1, 2008, in her townhouse apartment in Shippensburg, due to
complications of diabetes.

Born July 12, 1987, at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, she was a
daughter of Wayne and Margaret S. (Plummer) Norman of 328 Carolle St.,
Greencastle.

Miss Norman was a 2005 graduate of the Greencastle-Antrim High School,
where she was a member of the band, choir, National Honor Society and
Indoor Guard. She was currently a student at Harrisburg Area Community
College, and formerly attended Shippensburg University, where she was a
member of the Shippensburg University choir.

She was a member of the Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority at
Shippensburg, and a member of Solomons Evangelical Lutheran Church of
Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents, family surviving are, her sister, Melissa
C. Norman of Greencastle; maternal grandparents, Richard and Catherine
Plummer of Fairless Hills; paternal grandparents, Wayne Sr. and Ellen
Norman of Media; her boyfriend, Michael Perry of Rolla, Mo.; and many
aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant
sister, Rebecca Norman in 1981.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Solomons
Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4856 Wayne Road, Chambersburg, with the
Rev. Michael E. Allwein officiating. Interment will be in the Emilie
Methodist Church Cemetery in Levittown, at the convenience of the
family. There will be no public viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory
to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.

Arrangements were made by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.

Congratulations to the Sisters of Kappa Alpha Iota Chapter, Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority ( our sisters ) at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

They were honored as Sorority of the Year and also walked away with the community service award.

The youngest chapter of Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority has certainly turned some heads with their accomplishments.

Convention 2007 news.

Please join us in congratulating the brothers and sisters of Kappa Delta Phi and Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority in yet another successful year. Convention 2007 was record setting, with almost 400 attendees. After our two separate business meetings, the brothers and sisters came together for a joint award luncheon with keynote speaker Michael Avis of Omicron chapter. As Vice President of J.P. Morgan, Brother Avis credits his years with Kappa Delta Phi for instilling within him the leadership and character he has used to succeed.

The Brothers of Lambda Colony of Kappa Delta Phi National Fraternity at Husson College and the sisters of Kappa Alpha Iota Colony of Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority at Shippensburg University.

Both Colonies will be representing their groups in full numbers at the 2007 annual convention in Springfield, Ma on April 13th and 14th.
